I have a Redmi Note 8 Pro.

Security Patch: 01/04/2022
After using Reset/Disable Mi Cloud OTA in UnlockTool, the phone works fine. But as soon as I connect to the internet (especially with a VPN), the Mi Account lock comes back.
Is there any solution in UnlockTool to stop the phone from connecting to Xiaomi (Mi) activation servers, or any other permanent fix?
